Eligibility Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- Completion of 12th grade from a recognized board.
- Minimum required percentage: 65%.
- SSC & HSC should be from the Science stream.
Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old at the time of application.
Entrance Exam:
- Applicants may need to pass an entrance exam, depending on the university's policy.
Language Proficiency:
- English language proficiency may be required for international students.
- However, Ilia State University does not require an English language proficiency test for admission. Students may submit test results if they have them as proof of proficiency.

Curriculum
- Includes 6 ECTS electives from Natural Science.
- Provides a strong foundation in mathematical and scientific principles.
- Includes 6 ECTS elective courses from Business Administration.
- Management & Finance for Engineers Module – 8 ECTS.
- Language Requirements:
- International students must pass both Practical Courses of Georgian (12 ECTS).
- Local students must pass German or English Practical Courses (12 ECTS).
- Mandatory Civil Engineering courses – 112 ECTS (includes 6 ECTS of Design courses).
- Elective courses – 30 ECTS (students choose 4 courses from 6 specialization areas).
Students can specialize by selecting courses from four of the following six areas:
- Water Resource Engineering
- Transportation Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Construction Engineering
- A final-year industry-based project to prepare students for real-world challenges.
- Involves planning, design, and execution of an engineering solution.
- Teamwork: Groups of 3 to 6 students collaborate under a faculty mentor and an industry sponsor.
- Assessment:
- Each student submits an individual activity report.
- Peer evaluation ensures fair contribution by all team members.
