The degree programme Economics and Business Administration is a business administration programme with an international focus. The programme prepares you to deal with a wide range of business administration issues, especially in private companies, and to develop business strategies that will create opportunities for growth.Business administration is about how to analyse and manage a company's various activities so that they contribute to creating value for the company's customers, employees and owners – and society as a whole. You will learn how to identify, formulate and solve issues and challenges related to business administration, and thus how to best manage and optimize the operation of a company. Due to the programmer's international focus, the language of instruction is English and all literature is in English.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for admission to this degree programme, you must fulfil the following requirements:
A qualifying examination
at least 6.0 grade point average (GPA) on the Danish 7-point scale in the qualifying examination*
as well as the following specific admission requirements (A, B and C refers to the subject level in the Danish upper secondary school with A being the highest level possible):
English B
Mathematics B
History B or History of Ideas B or Social Science B or Contemporary History B or International Economics B
*In case you do not fulfill the requirement of at least 6.0 grade point average in the qualifying examination (GPA) you must apply for admission before 15 March in order to be evaluated in quota 2.
If there are any subjects you have not completed at the required level, you can take them as supplementary courses or as a summer supplementary course (conditional Admission).
The admission requirements must be met and documented by 5 July in the year of application unless you apply for conditional admission.

English Language Requirements
Almost all Bachelor’s degree programmers require qualifications comparable to a Danish secondary school English at B-level.
You may fulfil the requirement of English at B-level with your English subject if you hold one of the following qualifying entry examinations:
A Danish qualifying entry examination
A Nordic qualifying entry examination
A qualifying entry examination from the Duborg school/A.P. Møller School
A qualifying entry examination from International Baccalaureate (from the IB diploma programme)
A qualifying entry examination from European Baccalaureate (from the “ScholaEuropaea”)
A non-Danish qualifying entry examination with an English subject level that Aarhus University assesses as fulfilling the requirement of minimum English at B-level*
*Applicants holding a Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife (Abiturzeugnis) from Germany with the subject English Leistungsfach (LF)/erhöhtes Anforderungsniveau (eA)/Kernfach (KF)/Profilfach/Profilgebendes Fach (PgF).
*Applicants holding a Baccalauréat avec Option internationale (OIB) from France with the option Americain or Britannique and a passed English subject.
*A completed high-school diploma/Upper Secondary School Leaving Examination from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Scotland or Ireland with a passed subject in English.

If you take a Cambridge test, you must share your results with Aarhus University via the Candidate Results Website (candidates.cambridgeenglish.org).
To access this website, you must register using your ‘Candidate ID’ and ‘Secret Number’ (obtained from your exam Centre).

We do not accept test results that cannot be verified via the test center's website.
Therefore, please be aware that IELTS and TOEFL tests can usually not be verified online if they are more than 2 years old. Cambridge tests do not have an expiration date.
You must upload your test result and your receipt for registration to the test to your application on www.optagelse.dk before the documentation deadline. You can find the deadlines here.
We do not accept any other English language test except the above mentioned.

In the course of your studies, you gain a comprehensive understanding of the many different factors, which have an impact on the running of an international company. You learn to analyze the company’s situation and make informed decisions based on the problems you identify.
