Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Business program at Western Sydney University, applicants must have completed the Australian Year 12 Higher School Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, successful completion of a Diploma of Business from Western Sydney University The College or a relevant Vocational Education and Training (VET) award is acceptable. While there are no strict prerequisites, it is assumed that applicants have proficiency in Mathematics and any two units of English. Applicants lacking sufficient achievement in mathematics may need to use one of their elective subjects to enhance their mathematical skills, which will not extend the duration of the program.
English Language Proficiency
For international students applying to Western Sydney University, the English language proficiency requirements are as follows:
- IELTS (Academic version): Overall score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-test.
- TOEFL Internet-based: Overall score of 82, with minimum scores of 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, 13 in Reading, and 13 in Listening.
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58, with no communication skills less than 50.
Additionally, the English language proficiency test must be no more than two years old at the time of commencement.

Curriculum
All students complete four compulsory subjects to build fundamental business knowledge:
